Face Tite plus Morpheus 8 "Embrace" Procedure in Kingston

Facetite is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten and contour the skin on the face and neck. It is a relatively new technology that is becoming increasingly popular as a non-surgical alternative to traditional facelifts. During the Facetite procedure, a small probe is inserted under the skin through a tiny incision. The probe emits radiofrequency energy that heats up the underlying tissues, causing them to contract and tighten. At the same time, the heat also stimulates the production of collagen, which further improves skin elasticity and firmness. Facetite can give on average a 30% tightening or "shrinkage" of skin - which is the most of any technique short of surgical facelift with skin excision. Facetite is typically performed under local anesthesia and ProNox laughing gas. There is minimal downtime associated with the procedure, and most patients can return to their normal activities within a few days. Some swelling and bruising may occur, but these typically resolve within a week or two. Dr Kim usually finishes the FaceTite procedure with Morpheus 8 to give extra improvement in fine lines/wrinkles and texture changes. The combination of Face Tite with Morpheus 8 is called the "Embrace" procedure. Facetite is generally considered safe, with minimal risk of complications. However, as with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects, including infection, bleeding, scarring, and nerve damage. Facetite can be used to address a variety of cosmetic concerns, including:

  1. Sagging skin on the face and neck

  2. Fine lines and wrinkles

  3. Double chin or jowls

  4. Uneven skin texture and tone

Facetite can also be combined with other cosmetic treatments, such as liposuction or dermal fillers, to achieve more comprehensive results. Occasionally, Dr Kim uses the Facetite handpiece at the time of surgical facelift to give extra tightening in difficult areas like under the chin and neck. Overall, Facetite is a safe and effective cosmetic procedure that can provide significant improvements in skin tightness and contouring. It is best for people who want tightening and improvement but do not feel they are ready to committ to the downtime of a surgical facelift.
