Moles, cysts, lipomas and other benign lesions can be irritating and lead to infections and other issues.

These lesions can be removed surgically or potentially with laser. Please have your family physician or nurse practitioner fax a referral to the clinic.

Lesion removal for cosmetic reasons is not covered by OHIP. Benign, noncancerous lesions can be removed without referral as a self-pay procedure.

Lesion removal starts at $575+tax plus $50 per additional lesion. Addition lesions MUST be removed at the same appointment.

Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Melanoma are common skin cancers requiring quick access to removal.

Assessment, biopsy, excision, topical and PDT are some of the ways we treat for Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Melanoma and Actinic Keratosis. We also offer ​Mole Mapping for patients that have had Melanoma removed and they are being followed by Dr. Meathrel for their skin checks. If you are interested in booking a private pay mole mapping session, the cost is $375+tax.
